Summary:
Under the supervision of the Transportation Coordinator, responsible for 14 -passenger vehicle.
Responsibilities include, but no limited to:
Transport elderly clients to and from various destinations as required, i.
e.
the Senior Center, Medical Appointments, Trips, Shopping, etc.
Escort and assist elderly clients from homes to the vehicle and back, if necessary.
Ensure the safety of the passengers through the use of seat belts, wheelchair lift, wheelchair brackets and other safety devices.
Complete daily passenger log Collect and record participants contributions Keep vehicle clean and in good operating condition Inspect vehicle daily and report any operational, or structural defects immediately Oversee the maintenance, repair and cleaning of the vehicle (gas, oil, tires).
Keep daily gasoline and mileage records Keep vehicle repair log Pick up and return vehicle to Senior Center parking facility daily Perform other tasks as required
Qualifications:
A valid and clean New York Driver's License Three years of driving experience in New York City High School Diploma / GED Good communication skills Demonstrate sensitivity for the elderly persons 8:

$114.
10 per Diem/$16.
